#11
I found one , was about 30-35 min on it , and finally got it open. For my bad was empty but at least i know the "way" to do it . As S0PH!4 said, using diverse patterns. and much luck.

I don't understand the necessity for lockboxes when you have the vault. What, are people too lazy to walk to the settlement? I get that you can be killed on the way there, but the idea of your items being loose in the map even if it's guarded by a 4 digit password just seems far more sketchy than in the vault where it's surely safe.

I'd rather not have to walk back to Castle Pine all the way from West Boulder and the airport as soon as I find one rare gun in risk of losing it. It's much safer inside the vault, where I can't be killed for it. The vault also almost gets rid of my need for meds while server hopping. Severely injured? Store everything with the vault, kill yourself, go do something productive for an hour, and come back. It is very helpful for me.

Or you Can Join a PVE Server Group\Clan Loot n Stuff and be a Douche Bandito on Publics and then When your pack is full you've got 4 clips of 5.56 stanag and 2 m16's and a Acog Scope Log off swap to Priv and make your jolly waltz to the Save Settlements.

There might be ways to bruteforce the code lock. I don't think it would take alot of time either, since it's only 0-9999.

are we sure forcing the code is not caught serverside?

It takes 1 sec to loot anything (aka E). So 60 sec in a min, 60min in 1h.... 10,000
